But I'm not sure I like the idea of menstruation being portrayed as an evil monster.

Granted, it's not always pleasant, but it's part of us, and I think it hardly helps to vilify it.

And yeah, there was disco music a-plenty ^_^

We all have a different way of viewing our menses - I view mine as an inconvenience, others view it as wholesome and welcome it with open arms, some vilify it.

No matter what we think of it, shouldn't be able to view it with a sense of humor?

True, it isn't evil it's sort of magical in a very messy and inconvenient way. I hate when companies that bank on our menstruations make commercials that seem so nonchalant like the tampons commercials that always have chic’s in tight leggings horseback riding. I don't care how super slim they come Horseback riding is the last thing I'd be doing

I don't like menstruation being portrayed as an evil monster either, but it still gave me a giggle :)
I think of mine more like a relative, you love them dearly, but sometimes they piss you off and you just wish they'd leave LOL
