Ugh, cramps, the works. I wasn't able to pick up my bcp's and when I'm off the pills, my cycle is very painful and heavy.
I get offended at all the 'blame' men say women place on PMS as an
"excuse" to be bitchy, whiney, tearful, etc. Bah humbug.!
Here is my take on it. Now mind you, I'm no biblical scolar, so I could be wrong. Anyway:
Many are under the assumption that this whole curse of menstration and labor pains, yada yada are all Eve's fault. Eve tempted Adam to eat the forbidden fruit. Ture, she did. But why? Because LUCIFER, an male serphant told her to. So does this then mean that it is actually all a MAN's fault after all? Opinions?
Tell that to a man, they will laugh at you.

A male friend points out that either way, without man, if Adam & Eve had not mated, the species of man (correctly, persons) would not exist. He therefore say's that men are equally as important as women, "...some one had to fertalize the egg"

The Mormon belief is that eating the apple was a necessary step for the growth of the human race. It was a choice to leave the presence of God and begin a human life, with all the accompanying pain. God wasn't going to force this on them, even though it was the only way the human race could exist. They had to choose for themselves, and they did.

Not necessarily my personally belief, but definetly an interesting viewpoint.

Yes it is interesting. Another thing I read into what you said abt. the Mormon belief, (and this is WAY off topic), but makes sense.....
The eating of the apple, to neuorish, feed the body, to be able to live. A possible symbol of the beginning of life too? The function of eating, necessary to LIFE. I know, it sound whacky, but then again, I am whacky.

Was put on women, not cause of what on woman did, but because men wouldn't be able to handle it! And united women can do much more towards the peace and love that needs to rule that planet. United men just cause war!

Probably doesn't make the cramps go away, though! But best to have feelings of power during the most cursed times! ;)

True. So many time a few of my friends will come up with a (what we think) are common sense based ideas to make peace an active as opposed to a constant fumbling of speeches given by agencies and what not. The next thing you know, some anchor person on the news does a snippet on the very same idea, like they are discovering the wheel.
I can't wait until we have a minority race female in the White House. I would like to see the
"First Husband" instead of the First Lady. *wink*

screw men. i try not to talk to them too much if i can avoid it. as far as mooning, i prefer to think of it as a blessed sacrament rather than a curse. it is what we share with Mother Gaia, the earth: the ability to create, the cycles of life illustrated every month, written in the blood of our mothers and daughters.
