Okay, well I just read thru most of the community, and I'm so glad I joined! I love that most of you have no problems asking what you want to know, and there are so many well informed/educated people!! That's awesome!
I already left a few comments to some questions and stuff........ but couldn't seem to find anything relating to what I was wondering, so here goes, and gawd, I feel sorta embarrassed... ANYWAY:

I've been taking othro-cyclen for two years, and I've always seriously hated my period. The whole bleeding thing just bothers me, and it's always been so short (a whopping 32 hours) and super light, too light for tampons and I always hated pads....... So now I skip the placebos and only have a period about 3-4 times a year. HOWEVER, When I do have these periods, it's less than light. It's not even a period. It's a rusty.... dry blood sort of looking thing. not dried blood, but it just reminds me of old blood, though it's not (god that sounds gross). It's seriously not even heavy enough to put a drip on a panty liner, and I can only see it when I use toilet paper to wipe after peeing. Is this what spotting is??
Basically, all I'm really wondering is, has anyone else experienced this, or anything similar??
I know it can't be too awfully weird because my doctor said not to worry...... I'm just sort of looking for a "yah. I've had that" to know I'm not some menstrual freak.
Thanks so much for this community though! it's great!
