[identity profile] mactavish.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] menstrualhut
I left the house to pick up groceries yesterday in my very best undies, thinking, "Wow, it almost feels like I'm starting my period. But it's a day early, and I don't have cramps." By the time I got home from the grocery store, I was cramping up, and glad that we'd planned to try "Oxyclean" in the laundry.

But this seems to be a relatively mild one. I'm going through tampons slowly enough to have switched to pads, and the cramps only lasted about an hour. My cramps have lightened up ever since I started steroids and anti-inflammatory drugs for something else. I wonder if there's a connection.

Oxyclean...

regular use of anti-inflammatory meds will help menstrual cramps a great deal.
at least, that's what all my doctors keep telling me. i think they think if they tell me that enough, i'll be brainwashed into believing i'm not hurting like.. i don't know.. something that hurts a hell of a lot.
sorry, random tangent. i'm overmedicated. but really, it is supposed to help, and i'm sure that for most people it really does.
