I know this isn't necessarily a menstrual like question but the other communities don't seem to be as consistent as we all are.

So I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the brazilian waxes? Mainly I would like to know about how long you can expect to go before you get the stubblies. Anyone?

You know I've never had one done but really wanted to. You could also try the community called Vaginapagina. They've always got helpful ideas.

i do it myself (whey i have the patience) and it takes about two to three weeks before i have any substantial growth. my hair grows quite quickly, though. the wonderful thing about waxing is that because you are pulling the hair out by the roots you don't get stubble. you just get the fine tips of hairs coming through. it's much less itchy/scratchy this way.

Ohhhh, I didn't know that. Sounds good then. I couldn't imagine how I could do it myself seems like I'd need 8 hands. Plus, I probably wouldn't have the guts to rip it back off- best I pay the 100$ for a professional.

probably a good idea to have it done professionally. like i said, it takes patience ;)

also, in case you didn't know, if you have the waxing done on a regular basis, the hairs will start to grow back softer and finer and as the years go by they will stop growing at all.
