tampons annoy me........

has anyone ever noticed with a tampon, that if you are prone to clots, the tampon only ever absorbs blood on one side of the tampon, then leaks...... it makes me mad, ifeel like im wasting money by only using half a tampon. I should complain to the tampon companys!

I know, they are highly annoying, especially if your someone who has to use super, then it only uses half the damn thing and leaks!

there's not exactly much they can do about that. the way tampons are designed, if more blood flows on one side than the other, it's not going to magically jump to the other side to compensate.
i would highly recommend the keeper...

seeing as it's almost 5am here, though, my brain is fuzzy and i can't remember any other sites for ordering them but thekeeper.com -- which doesn't accept non-US-based bank stuff. uh... i didn't phrase that correctly. but. yeah.

out of curiosity. why's that worse than buying tons and tons of tampons and inserting *them* regularly?

well, a tampon is easy to me lol I've had 8yrs experiance with them, and they dont have to go right up at the cervix, they just get shoved in that little hole and stay there till changing.

With a keeper you've got to get it alll the way up to your cervix (which is hard if you have tiny hands)and then you have to pull it out again without spilling blood all over your hand. To me its just to much effort, I'm lazy hehe

that ALWAYS happened to me, I could never figure out why, (I don't get clots btw) I figured maybe I wasn't inserting them correctly, but I tried all sorts of angles and still the same side leakage. I was worried that a similar thing might happen with my keeper, but luckily it doesn't.

Maybe it's just me, but, actually, I find if I use something ~other~ than a tampon (pads, keeper, sponges, whatever), I'm less prone to clotting in the first place.

I've always been prone to clotting, even when I was using pads.My mother had the same problem, Its annoing sometimes, like tonight, I changed,which must have disloged quite a large clot, and I went to wipe before putting in a new tampon, and I thought I was dying, there was just so much blood! Then I was like..... damn clots hehe
