Does any body know if ortho-tricylen cause fatigue because I just started it and I am extremely tired. You responses would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I'm on ortho-try-cyclen and I've never noticed it contributing to my fatigue. However, considering that I was a high school and am now a college student, a little more fatigue wouldn't be noticed, considering how tired I usually am anyhow :) However, like the person above said, I'd consider taking a vitamin/iron supplement (not a super-dose one, just a bit) and drinking more water... both help your body adjust to a change in something (like new meds) and to fatigue in general, esp. a vitamin with iron if it's caused by a tad of anemia. (If this is *major* or gets in the way of life, or goes on for awhile, then a doctor could tell you more, of course)
im on a different kind of birth control but i've noticed lately (i just started a month ago) that it makes me hungry more frequently, which then leads to feelings tired, weak, etc..so maybe u have the same problem
maybe it's shock on your body? how long have you been on it for? i gained a little bit of weight when i went on it in high school.. it increased my appetite a bit i think... but it didnt make me tired.. i say give it some time and see if yourbody gets adjusted to it better.. are you sure there arent any other factors (weather, drained from work etc.)?
I dunno. I also take Zoloft and currently Allegra. It might be the Allegra. I just started Ortho on Sunday. I have been getting at least 8 hours lately. I dunno.
some people just need more than 8 hours.. *shrug* i'm tired on that, I'm usually OK on 9 or 10... go figure. but yeah, changes in meds can make the bod funny for a little bit...
