The Vagina Monolouges

Live Journal is working again I guess. I'm using lj-cut because I don't want this to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it. HBO has been showing it so you gotta get it :)

This is just my point of view and what not. It's kind of short. I watched The Vagina Monologues last night and made my Mom watch some of it with me. It was pretty good. This woman had interviewed about (over, i think) 200 women about this from three to five years. That's pretty damn cool. She did monologues from stories certain women had told her and told their stories. Changed her voice a bit to sound like them, give you some in sight as to how they were in the interview. It was about two hours long. If she ever adds on I want to get tickets and check it out o.o hehe. It was mature and had it's funny part. I wanted to hit my brother. He was walking in and out of the room going on about it like it was porn (mind you, he's 30). Blah, I guess you just have to be mature and open to enjoy it.

yay! it's such a wonderful play. i've seen it performed live (not by eve ensler ;__;) and it's so wonderful to sit in a theatre full of women who understand exactly what the monologues are about.
