On Saturday at 8 a.m. EST, I'm boarding a plane. At 4:30 p.m. EST, my week-long spring-break cruise leaves port and heads into the Caribbean.

So guess what? Day 28 is Friday. I used to a be a set-your-watch-by-me 28-day girl. For the last 6 months or so, I'm a 26-day girl. That means Wednesday was day 26. No sign of my friend yet. I'm very impatient; I was hoping I'd get lucky and be super early. At least I'm not hoping to get laid during break.

Somebody do the Menstrual Dance for me.

The Keeper

Having a Keeper menstrual cup has taken the hassle out of having my period while on vacation.

No leaking, don't have to empty it for 7 hours on my 2 heaviest flow days, and for 12 hours the rest of my period.

The Keeper rocks!! (Unless you're planning to have sex on your period, and then I guess if you know the guy well enough to engage in that activity then you could remove The Keeper, put down a towel, and peak out! But you did say sex on your period wasn't a consideration this time.)

Thanks for your post...I've been using the keeper for a couple years and am generally pleased with it, but I get just enough leakage that it isn't really a viable option for swimming, even when I have a good seal. But I agree...the keeper rocks!
