Oh man, I've been having the wrost pms of my life! Last night, one minute I'd be crying and the next I'd be laughing.

Does anyone else get really bad pms? Is there any way to get rid of it?
I've heard being a vegetarian helps alot (www.askdrbob.com) butI already am.

... a lot of "common sense" health stuff: get enough sleep, eat a balanced diet (cut back maybe a little on the sugars/fats/"empty" carbs but don't do anything drastic), drink enough water (most people don't) and, if you drink a lot of caffiene, try weaning yourself off of it; also, if you don't excercise regularly, try just taking a half-hour walk and see if that helps things.

otherwise, going on the Pill often helps as well... and if you have *severe* mood drops (depressive), talk to your doctor about maybe trying a mood stabilizing medication for that part of your cycle.

Prozac for PMDD

Doctors and Psychiatrists are finding Prozac to be effective in treating PMDD (Premestrual Depressive Disorder), which is basically a severe case of PMS that focuses more on the depression, mood swings, crying jags, etc of PMS.

I'm allergic to Prozac though.. it gives me a major rash.
