i'm putting together a zine for a project at my school on alternative menstruation stuff. i think it will be period thoughts, all perspectives, and also some herbal remedies, and info on sustainable products like reusable cloth pads, menstrual sea sponges, the keeper, a little bit on organic disposables.

so what i'm looking for is brief (a line, a paragraph or 2) writings from women on using alternatives like the sponge, keeper, cloth pads. so if you ladies could help me out. also any brief stuff on your thoughts or experience with periods.
thanks a bunch!

i use instead. instead is a soft plastic disposable cup, but a lot of the people here seem to wash+reuse them if they wear instead. they're very comfortable, and you can wear them up to twelve hours before having to change them. they can be rather hard to find, but i like them. they're rather like a diaphram with a large rim. once i put one in, i'm good all day, and don't have to try to get out of class or anything the way i would to change a pad or tampon.
