Mar. 25th, 2002 01:34 pmso now i have another question. i think i'm over the PID scare. the past 2 periods i've had terrible PMS. the thing is it never used to affect my moods very much, but i was cranky, crying easily... coincidentally i spent both of my PMSs with my girlfriend and i was too cranky with her, she said it was ok, but i felt bad. i don't want PMS to rule my life. what can i do to prevent this? also, can a couple of cups of coffee a week affect me that much? that's really the only thing i can think of (this is my first semester at college) when during my cycle would it affect me the most? thanks:)

Date: 2002-03-25 11:49 am (UTC)It depends on how your body reacts to things. I have a terrible time with caffeine, but I didn't really know it until I cut it entirely out of my life for a while. Now I severely restrict my caffeine intake, and it's affected things in a positive way.
Also, life changes, stress, new routines, all of those things can affect your moods and your cycle. Some of it might just be getting used to being at college. Have your sleeping or eating habits changed, for example?
