Mar. 27th, 2002 11:25 amAre they serious?
In a university of how many thousand studensts, half of which are female, a quarter of those who might need them this week, they've removed every single one of those sanitary bins that they put in the toilet cubicles... have they no sense?
yes, I am particularly irritated cos I wanted to dispose of something in them... instead it's back to the old days of wrapping it up and trhowing in the the bin for the paper towels... grrr

Date: 2002-03-26 05:03 pm (UTC)I remember the happy day when we got those little trash bins installed in my dorm bathrooms! Why would they take them away?

Date: 2002-03-26 05:30 pm (UTC)sometimes they're removed for cleaning/disinfection (usually not ALL at once, though i've seen it happen).
they might've been recalled by the manufacturer...
perhaps they're being replaced?
call maintenance or housekeeping for the university--someone should know something about it. and if the bins are missing in the residence hall bathrooms, call the director of your residency hall association (either staffmember or student, depends on the school, i suppose).
