I've always had a very regular, very predictable 4-week cycle that's never given me any real problems beyond some very nasty cramps, especially in the last couple of years... but this spring/summer, it's going to be a real problem. First, there's my high school graduation, in which I'll be wearing a very nice, very white dress, then there's my 2-year anniversary with my boyfriend, and then a really close friend is visiting from Canada for a week, and I really don't want to be incapacitated/inconvenienced for any of that.

I've figured out that it will all work out just fine if I can move my period up by a bit over a week over the next two-ish months, and it seems like a good dose of parsely tea would make that possible, if I try to bump it up by 4 or 5 days one time and 4 or 5 more days the next... but... will it actually work like that? Can I make my body do that? If I have a bad experience with the tea the first time I try it, it's not going to hurt anything too much, but I'd just like to know if this is at all do-able.

Yes, you should be able to do that. Shedding your uterus lining is hormonal and sort of 'resets the clock'. Let us know how it works out.

If you're on the pill, you can just skip your week of inactive pills to change your cycle also. But I don't know exactly how it works.
