I'm just curious - what is your favorite menstrual product? Why? Which brand do you use? Do you use tampons with applicators or without and why?

oops, i clicked the wrong thing without thinking. i said 'organic tampons' but they really aren't, just the biodegradable kind.

I use Kotex Curved or Kotex overnights. Overnights are for MY nomral flow (Heavier than most peoples and overnights are perfect) and curved for light flow, because they don't shift and bunch as much as normal flat pads.

I use non-organic disposable pads, like Always. I could use a tampon if I wanted, but I'm too lazy to bother with them. I've never tried the Keeper or Instead, but maybe I will someday. Who knows?

at home--organic cotton tampons (usually natracare, applicator-free), homemade or store-bought reusable pads, natracare overnight pads if i have more than two heavy nights

out and about--natracare tampons, natracare pads/pantiliners (i don't use reusable pads in public because i WOULD leave them somewhere--sink, car, metro...)

i formerly used ONLY always and tampax, but i discovered that some of my membrane irritations and rashes went away when i stopped using them. always isn't supposed to contain natural rubber latex (NRL), so i guess my lovely super-immune body is unhappy with something else in there. natracare is definitely NRL-free.

i miss the tampax juniors (now marketed as light)... i wish i could find a comparable organic tampon. as it is, i just use more pads and fewer tampons since my flow is too light for regular tampons on all but the middle three-five days.

I use Instead. I would have voted but I don't think the keeper is the same since it is reusable.
