i was wondering how you all like the Sea Sponge. Tampons give me cramps - really bad. i have considered using a sea sponge, but i am scared i will have the same problem. So.... are they worth it?? :)

thanx and blessings...

i only heard a few months ago that tampons can cause cramps and i haven't really tested that theory. but i usually do get cramps. last month was my first using my sea sponge, and i did notice that i had very little cramping. i absolutely love the sea sponge though!

I've always cramped, pads, spomges, regardless, but I haven't noticed that I cramp any *more* with the sponges. I know my body doesn't like regualr tampons though and tries to spit them out ... painfully ....

I *HIGHLY* recommend the sponges!! I tend to bleed VERY heavily, and typically bleed straight through the OB ultra tampons in only a few hours. The sponges handle more blood at a time, and are much more comfy. Some of the larger size tampons (ie super plus and ultra) can put alot of pressure on your rectum which makes for uncomfortable bowel cramping. So far, I have not had any problems with the sponges.
