went i went on BC they asked if i did drugs...and i said yeah but didnt go into with him on what i was doing. he said that i shouldnt do drugs, i shouldnt smoke and i should not drink in large amounts..

i dunno...they might have a effect on it? i still smoked pot and stuff and never got pregnant...

yeah i know...but he never said that pot would effect my BC in this way or that way...
he just said i shouldnt do it. i still did it though...

Pot can affect the menstrual cycle...as such, it can probably affect hormones, and therefore probably also affect a Birth Control pill. I'd give a call to planned parenthood or something and find out if you're really concerned.

I'm not sure about pot but I believe crystal meth and X do.

I don't think it decreases the effectiveness but it might increase the negative pill side effects like blood clots.
