Ugh. Started my period last night, and today my neck has horrible painful unpoppable little zits all over it.

I remember being 15 and thinking, "When I'm 18, I won't get zits anymore." Then when I was 18, "When I'm 21, I won't get zits anymore."

I'm 39.

Ugh... I was just browsing by... I get something like that. They're almost like little boils or something and they hurt. Flax seed oil (1000mg 3xdaily) and 400IU Vit E daily have helped keep them from flaring up. Not 100% but I don't look diseased anymore.

cystic acne?

my mom's almost 52 and i'm sure she'd just love to know i'm telling you she still has cystic acne. she didn't get it much until she was in her twenties, AFAIK.

i didn't get it until i was in my late teens, but i got my period a good four-five years before she did (relatively speaking, naturally).

i'm waiting for my menstrual breakout to dry up and recede.

my skin will be clear right about the time it breaks out again. ;)

Just neck zits. They'll go away before my period's over, and I'll only have a random zit or two until the next one. Mostly, my zits are menstrual and not severe, just annoying.
