Aunt Flo came today. Does anyone else only have cramps on the day you start your period and not before or after; or am I just weird?

For the past few years, I've had cramps only on the first day, not before I'm after.

But that doesn't mean you're not weird. ;)

My cramps have always been for the first few hours of my period...in fact, they've most often been my first indication that my period has started...

I have them usually for a few very intense hours and then I'm done. As I've gotten older, those few intense hours have been followed by very mild cramps for the remainder of the day, and once in a great while, there is some very light, mildly uncomfortable residual the following day.

Nope, not weird at all. Everyone is differnt.

I only cramp on the first day as well. Like the other lady who responded it is sometimes my first sign that my period has started.

My period starts in the morning, my cramps don't start til later in the day...but I get them the first day, and sometimes the second.

I usually wake up with cramps and my period comes sometime that morning. Lately it's been just the first day, or first two days.
