Question!

When I forget my pills 2 days in a row, I double up for the next 2 days to catch up, right?

Like I forgot my pills this weekend, so Idouble up today (Saturday and Sunday's pills) and then again tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday's pills). Right?

oh lord no, unless you want morning sickness AND your period...

if you miss two days, just stop taking them and have your period and finish them up when you're done. when that pack is gone, just start the next pack without taking the placebo pills.

that's what i always did, anyway... if doubling up works for you, go for it, but it always made me sick.

Okay...because I just had my period the week before last (ending Friday before last), so I would think that's too soon to have another. Doubling has never made me sick (I sometimes forget a day, but never more than one).

Yes, but I am a lesbian. LOL. Well, bi leaning towards lez. I'm not dating men right now (probably not for a while), but I need to regulate my periods. So missing my pills and having the "risk" of getting pregnant is so not the problem. I am just really irregular, so I am on the pill to schedule my periods. LOL

i did that for about 3 years. it just got to be too much of a hassle. i quit a couple months ago and am fairly regular so far. *knock on wood*

It is a hassle. I may go off it and see what happens...I just like knowing exactly when it's coming. ;o)

that is nice to know... mine surprised me. i think i know when it's on it's way.. but i'm not totally sure. bleh. that's a pain in the ass too, but it sure costs less. lol

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Do NOT double up!!! NO NO NO NO NO!!! That will make you sooo sick.

What I do is just let my period happen for the five days and then start the pills that Sunday following like normal...don't take the placebo pills. That's all!!!

I went and dug the "instruction sheet" from my last pack of Ortho out of the bathroom trash just for you. It says, if you're in week 1 or 2 of your pack, take 2 pills a day for the next 2 days...if you're in week 3, take the regular 1 pill a day until the day you usually stop and throw the rest of the pills away.

I've doubled up on pills before with no nausea or ill effects. There is some increased risk of pregnanacy though, so you might want to use condoms for the next week or two.
