Question for women who have had babies before.

Does anyone know why for 5 weeks after I have had my pregnancy...my flow has been pretty normal. But now I'm using like 2 pads in 1 hour. I know that's not good. Does anyone know what could be causing that or if I should call my doctor.

Any info appreciated

In my experiance (2 babies and lots of friends/family) your flow should be decreasing now, not increasing. You Doctor would know.

If you haven't called your doctor yet, get off the computer and do so NOW. My midwife said bleeding more than 1 pad an hour is a not-so-good sign and to let her know right away. Especially at 5 weeks post-partum.

I agree with the others here, go contact your doctor RIGHT AWAY!! This is not a issue to take lightly.
I know with my first pregnancy I bled fairly heavily, and that was because I had a c-section, and they failed to remove everything from in utero, thus causing my some major issues.
