Heeeeellloo girls! I am sitting here, and have in for the very first time....Instead!
I went to Walgreens and was looking for tampons and I saw Instead. I bought it. It was easy to insert, and I can't feel it. It didn't add to my cramps like tampons do. I am looking forward to try the sea sponges. How do you know how much of the sponge to put in?

Well, the sponges are fairly small - and you insert the whole sponge as far up as you can (similar to a tampon - you put the whole tampon as far into the vagina as possible/comfortable). First you wet the sponge, squeeze out the excess water, and then insert it. If you find the sponge to be bigger than is comfortable for you (try it full size first, it still isn't that big), you can carefully "trim" it to make it smaller using sharp scissors. You want to trim it (as opposed to just cutting it in half or removing a third/quarter from one side) as the shape is specifically designed for its use. It may take a little bit at first - rotating it, trying different angles, etc. - to get it so that it is comfortable, but once you get the hang, it is easy! i think you'll be pleasantly surprised. :D

Good luck and go gentle,
inann

What is "Instead?" I haven't seen it or heard anything about it.
