hello hello! i have a question for you ladies! my period is really really late and i know for a fact that i'm not pregnant, do any of you know any methods for inducing menstration? i've tried blue cohosh and uva ursi... and i've tried menstral teas (store bought) and they haven't worked! i've also tried "imaging" (imagining my uterus gently shedding and whatnot) and NOTHING has worked! i've never had a regular cycle but this is getting ridiculous! i'm going on week 3 of being late! (and i'm not even sure if its "late" since i dont know how long my cycle is... all i know is that its KILLING ME!) so, yeah, if you gots any suggestions, i'm up for ANYTHING! thanks! xo.

dont worry about it. just as with ANY other woman, you always seem to get your period when your not expecting it. besides, worrying makes it delay too.

if you are really worried, especially taht you might be pregnant, vitamin C will do the trick, in large doeses...

for the correct dose and type of vitamin C supplement you might want to do a quick search engine check, but i believe it's about 1000 - 1500 mg (please double check that amount, it may be WAY off) a day for no longer than 5 days, with little or no side affects.

the high amount of ascorbic acid will cause the uterine walls to shed, whether it wants to or not :)

works for me every time.. i always forget the does though, so i have to look up in a search engine, contraceptive and vitamin c...

i'd do it for you but i dont have the time. it may be in memories as well.

The only down side to this method is that it will also cause diahreah. Not a fun thing to have with cramps.

Actually, in my experience, there is no diahreah... not at all...

ONLY If you exceed the 5 day maxium of taking the dosage should you experience any side effects what so ever.

Those were the instructions I recieved, and I've never experienced any, I've done this 4 times now.

Parsley tea! Read the memories section for this journal to read more info. Drinking parsely tea can bring on your period. I've done it myself. Etc.

I know how you feel. "Cycle", ha. It's a little weird, but my acupuncturist can bring a period on for me. If there's a school in your area you might be able to get pressure points done for cheap.
