im a little worried for her..and i know she is dying....
could it be normal if it was only her 3 time or whatever having sex?? her period always came when she was on the hormone pills as well...kind of broke through..maybe they werent working??? she's also on presciption medication which could have messed it up...
any ideas???
i think i might buy her a tester today..but im trying to make her feel okay....

Date: 2002-08-06 10:08 am (UTC)It doesn't matter if it's her first or thousanth time having sex...women can get pregnant any time they have sex if it coincides with the right time in her cycle. Sperm can live for several days in the vagina sometimes, and still fertilize an egg. And, it's still possible (although less likely) for a woman to get pregnant during her period, if the ovaries have released an egg.
If your friend was on prescription medicine, she needs to make sure that it's not something that would reduce the effectiveness of her pills-usually antibiotics are the culprit, but there are other medications that can do that as well.
