Aug. 10th, 2002 07:30 pmI'm a little freaked out right now.
It's been over a month since my last period. I've been fooling around with my boyfriend since then, and although there hasn't been any actual penetration persay, I've heard it's possible for the sperm to make their way up there anyway.
Now, it could just be a case of paranoia from reading too much stuff online, and the stress might be causing a delay, but I'm still freaking out a bit.
Should I worry? Should I not worry?
oh, yeah, I'm also a 16 year old virgin. pregnancy is not an option.

Date: 2002-08-10 08:49 pm (UTC)A pregnancy test can be a good idea. I know many of us here have had experiences of getting their period within 24 hours of a negative test - once you see it's negative, you stop worrying as much and get your period.
If you're getting pregnancy scares on a regular basis, consider looking into birth control, even if you aren't having actual intercourse. It may be worth it for peace of mind.
Also, make sure you're eating a healthy diet and try to find ways of relieving stress (mediation, exercise, whatever works for you). Both poor diets and stress can contribute to irregular periods.
