I just found this community and joined today because something is wrong. I don't know what. But so 2 weeks ago on the 9, my period came about a week and a couple days early. I was really pissed because on the 10th I left for a camping trip. 5 days of using an outhouse. But I got over it. It wasn't that hard. I had fun. Bam. It was over.

Now, it's the 20, and it started again. Today I woke up, went to the bathroom.....and said, "Oh crap." Why has it come again?? Is it abnormal to have 2 periods in a month a week apart from each other? I'm so confused and angry about it. If anyone could explain this...or tell me I need to see a doctor or something that would be good. I am going to my doctor anyways on the 26th for a physical, this would be a good time to ask. But thanks in advance for any help I can get.

There are numerous things that can cause this, some of them serious, some of them not so serious, and sometimes it just happens for no reason at all. It doesn't necessarily mean that this is a bad thing. Call your doctor and see if this can wait until your scheduled visit, or if you are in extreme pain (unusually bad cramps or other odd symptoms) you might try to get in right away. If you are on the pill it might just be a hormonal thing, especially if you accidentally missed a pill or two. But like I said, call your doctor because you're always better safe than sorry. If it's nothing then at least you know it's nothing!

Well hmm....I have no cramps...and no real mood swings, I'm just upset now about why it decided to show up. And I'm not on the pill and never had been. I think I'm just going to wait until my doctor appt. and maybe ask my mom about it for now. Yeah, I really really hope it's nothing. Thanks for your help!
