Depo bleeding

menstrualhutI've been on the depo provera shot for 6 months, and i'm not getting the next one. I've had a 'period' for over a month now. Its very light and sometimes stops, only to start gushing a matter of hours later. Its really annoying. And inconvenient to have to run to the bathroom in the middle of work because i feel my vagina leaking.
When can i expect this unexpected bleeding to stop? Anyone else have an experience like mine? Is there anything i can do get it to STOP???
