Depo bleeding

I've been on the depo provera shot for 6 months, and i'm not getting the next one. I've had a 'period' for over a month now. Its very light and sometimes stops, only to start gushing a matter of hours later. Its really annoying. And inconvenient to have to run to the bathroom in the middle of work because i feel my vagina leaking.

When can i expect this unexpected bleeding to stop? Anyone else have an experience like mine? Is there anything i can do get it to STOP???

i was on depo once and i could only stand to get the shot once. i didn't have my period for almost the full first month but then after that i bled like crazy for about three months straight. NOT fun. i also had terrible mood swings and would cry and get depressed at the drop of a hat. its supposed to be all convenient and what not but i found it to be a huge pain in my ass.....not to scare you. i ended up asking a nurse and she told me to start taking vitamin b12 (i think) and it would help to slow the bleeding. maybe it was b6 sorry.... cant remember...apparently the bleeding is normal for the first two shots and it supposively gets better......i didn't care to find out.....
