see a doctor.

if you haven't taken a pregnancy test yet take on, just in case. seek help for your eating disorder. try to relieve your stress. everything should return to normal.

eating habits definitely affect your period... if you don't eat enough, or are in some other way just not getting enough nutrients, it's entirely possible that you'll stop having your period. stress has lots to do with it too, can make it come early or very late or not at all. i agree with glitterdyke... talk to a doctor ASAP, and be frank about both the stress and the eating problems... your doctor will be able to help you with both. good luck! *hugs*

I agree with the first two. Definatly see a Doc. The same thing happened to me. Stress is a MAJOR factor so maybe try relaxing and take a little "you" time.

Yes, if you have an eating disorder and are not eating enough to sustain a healthy functioning system it can(and from what I have been led to understand eventually will)eventually affect all of your organs. Considering that your uterus is an organ and needs to be treated well in order to function properly(of course this goes for your whole body ultimately)it is going to be affected if it is being abused by lack of nutrients need to sustain it. Are you in counseling? If not you need to find a counselor you can trust. Take care. There are people out there who want to help, but first you need to want help. Let me know how you are.

A Dr.'s appointment will only do so much. It sounds more like you have issues dealing with how you see your body and yourself. A counselor can help you to define what the problem is. Just eating once a day or not at all is a form of self abuse and can have serious consequences for you. Obviously over time it WILL affect your body. The binging and purging cycle can have some terrible side effects such as weakening your teeth(due to the acid from bile) and burning out your esopohogus(same reason)you can come to a point where breathing will become difficult due to problems with your esophogus and windpipe as well. Also your body, if it is deprived of food long enough will acutually "eat itself" in an attempt to survive. How old are you? How long has this been going on? Have you ever been in counseling before? Have you ever experimented with other forms of self-abuse? These are things to think about. More than anything else knowing that someone cares can help you learn that you are worth caring about. It appears you have doubts about that right now. Whatever happens know it IS TRUE!!!! Whatever happens keep me updated. Please. Bye----

Are you far from home? How far along in college are you? The longer you wait to "find the courage to go to a doc" The more damage you can do in the long run. Get a good support system behind you and it will help supply the courage. Take care. Bye----
