I've had sex while menstruating lots of times -- towels are my friend. I have no interesting stories about it, though.

I have. It's very messy. I used a red towel under us. My husband didn't mind, but I don't think its for me.

Of course, we always use condoms, so it wasn't as gross as it could have been.

i aly a towel down..
sometimes there is no blood at all, somtimes a little bit, it really depends.
i like it alot because i am alot hornier and its natural lube.

many times...its really not that messy..and although a towel might work better...im in res at university and i just used some paper towel and there was no mess anywayz...it seems like it stops while having sex...but then after i'd go to the bathroom and it might be a bit messy

If you take a hot bath/shower before and wash really good, there isn't as much blood...most of the time.

We have sex regualarly while I'm on my period. It actually relieves my cramps, and I am more horny when on my period. Dunno why.

i am another member of the "horny while bleeding" club. Although DH isn't much of a blood person (at all... he bit his lip once and almost passed out) so we don't indulge much - but prior to this i was SO into it! i prefer black towels, as they don't show anything.

Not gross - just plan to take a sexy shower afterwards :D

I've done it a number of times. I generally don't do it the first day, though, because for whatever reason I'm too sore for it inside. But the other days are fine. I use a towel underneath me, and the blood acts as a good lubricant.

Once I also had intercourse with an Instead inside me...apparently it was a bit weird for the guy, though, and didn't feel quite so good with it. But there was no blood, and he was happy with that. I imagine there would be less or no blood coming out easily there if you use a female condom (Reality) but I don't know -- I've never used Reality during my period.

I don't think it is gross other than potential mess... I would suggest actually doing it in the shower :)

It's something some people hate, but others love - the mess can be taken care of with a towel (or indeed a diaphram).

If your partner doesn't mind, go for it.

I often have much more pleasure than usual at that time, don't know why really, I just seem more sensetive or something. Also, I find that it relieves cramps. The mess is not a problem, we use a towel but my bleeding always seems to stop during sex anyway.
