Wow! Menstrual Art!!

Hey there guys--
I hope it's okay for me to talk about this stuff in here...I'm not really promoting a different community or anything. I came across a LJ user, spiralingmoon. Her entire journal is comprised of paintings she has created with menstrual blood. They are incredible. Way great energy!

I think it's a part of her masters work in women's studies.
Just incredible.

Anyway, I know it's not for everyone, but I thought some of you might be interested in taking a peek. It's very menses-positive!

I kind of have mixed feelings about this, but I read her site and realized she's not doing this to be shocking, she's doing it as a positive thing. Honestly, deep down, some little part of me is squicked, but the paintings themselves are beautiful and very appealling to me. I think, though, that I would respond to blood from a leg vein in the same way.
