the crimson rush is flowing. I went to work yesterday hoping I'd make it through my shift without a sudden onset. I came home at 12:30 and got into bed thinking nothing of it. This morning, I woke up and went to the bathroom, wiped, and there it was, heavier than it's been in a while. I was quite surprised that I didn't even have a spot on my pajamas. Sometimes, I think I subconsciously "hold tight" harder when my period is about to come, so as to not stain my sheets. Regardless, it's been a fairly slow flow day, though quite clotted. I really need to get a physical. My mom thinks me ill. I don't know why I'm writing so much, I guess I'm just ranting. I don't have many people to talk to about this who don't get grossed out by the topic. Hope all is well in the land of female menstruation.

Clots are not an uncommon thing. It's just a matter of what the "norm" is for you....

*s* I always bleed on the sheets. Actually...I bleed pretty much everywhere. I generally sleep with my hands pressed between my legs, esp. in winter, I actually never realized how busy my hands were down ther in my sleep intil noticing that when my blood starts I always awaken with bloody hands! *l*

As I near menopause I wonder what it's going to be like to have unstained sheets! *l* I just joined another community here at LJ called Blood Art, and I'm really looking fwd to creating some lasting paintings before my flow stops completely.
