A little worried

I am usually like clockwork. I did something really stupid and got a week off schedule on my pills. Then I got poision ivy and have had to take antibiotics and steriods to clear it up. I have been cramping off and on for two weeks and NOTHING.

I am taking Black Cohosh and Blue Cohosh to kick start it. I just needed to vent my frustation and fear. Hopefully getting in out here will leave the energy open for my period to arrive.

Has anyone else ever had any problems with steriods throwing off their cycle?

antiobiotics can interfere with the metabolism of oral contraceptives. maybe that's the problem?

... are you sexually active with a male? If so, you could be pregnant... antibiotics really lower the effectiveness of birth control.

If not, my guess is your body's just adjusting to all the medicines and everything and it should even out w/in a month or so--if not, I'd get it checked! Good luck!

Yeah. That would be why I'm slightly freaked about being late. I don't even want to entertain the idea that I might be pregnant. I have an 18 month old daughter and a fairly recent divorce. This is not the right time for me to have another child. I was well into my pack of pills when said action took place, and I wasn't on the antibiotics or steriods yet. My last trip to the hut was the week of August 23rd, so I am about almost two weeks late at this point. If my period does not start this week, I will take a test. I could just be skipping one due to stress and issues OR I could be pregnant. Wonderful. Just damn wonderful.
