Hi everyone. I'm new here. And I just feel the need to rant...

Anyone else out there feel really cursed because their periods always seem to come or fall on major holidays? I am. I hate it. It ALWAYS comes on holidays. Grrr.

I hear that, sister. My first period came on my birthday and hasn't missed a year since. It also likes July 4th and Christmas.

Wow, I'm not alone! When I had a regular-ish period (before I started birth control) I'd always get my period on a holiday. It doesn't help that most of the major holidays fall at the end of the month, but then my period would wait a week and come on the 4th of July. *LOL*

not holidays exactly, but every time i'm on vacation (which often falls when i'm visiting family over holidays)

Oh it's even WORSE when it falls during a vacation!!!! UGH!!!! I hate that even more! I know females who actually planned their weddings around when they wouldn't be on their periods. I don't blame them.

makes PERFECT sense to me, anyone who says it's irrational is just...well, probably shouldn't get married or they'd go crazy :P you'd have to be quite regular to do that, though, with the length of advance planning you'd have to do.

Mine always (usually) comes at the end of the month, which is when most major holidays are (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and sometimes my period runs over on to New Years, too), so yeah, I know how you feel. It's frustrating as all hell. -_-
