This isn't a real serious question, but I was just wondering, does anyone else notice they... um... -get some- right before their period starts? I live with my best friend/ex/occasional bed buddy, and he gets rather amorous about once a month, and starts getting real touchy feely, and cuddly right before my period. I never really know when it's coming, cuz I don't keep track, but it never fails that if we -do- anything, the NEXT day, or within two days, my period starts.
Now, I don't know if he's sensing something, and doesn't realize it, such as a change in my pheremones, or if hooking up with him brings my period on.
Does anyone else experience this? I was just wondering if I'm seeing a coincidence as something more, or if it's normal.

I get that too! I have no idea why, i'm guessing your hormonal changes affect him too due to pherenomes like you said or something.

It's you, too. When you're about to go on your period you get really horny cause its your last chance to get pregnant which is all your body wants to do. He senses your horniness probably with these hyped up pheramones. All in the name of procreation. I thought it was just me until I took a class on women's biology

First, I must say I LOVE your icon! It's the reason I am commenting (saw it and pressed comment before even reading your entry) and second... you're not alone.

I always feel horny right before I get my period, moreso than usual. Doesn't always mean I get some (the girlfriend isn't always in the same mood) but I always want it.

See, I'm not horny right beforehand. I'm pretty mellow, most of the time, and being single -unless you count my friend in my icon- for two years, I've gotten used to not really getting any, when I want it. So, I just don't get horny anymore. He can't figure it out either. He'll just be like *pounce* and then afterwards be like, "Uh... where did that come from?"

I'm sure glad I don't get my period every time we do anything. I'd never stop bleeding...


I haven't noticed him doing anything at any special time more than another though.
