heh, well, actually, not so much from the Pill ... I've actually had at least one boyfriend leave me because all I wanted to do was have sex all the time since I started taking it ... *grin*

But it is different though... I've noticed that much. I kinda liked that primal pre-mentrual RARRR! I used to get...

A while back I started taking Effexor, an anti-depressant, and it significantly lowered my sex drive. Then, I started taking Triphasil for birth control and it actually heightened my sex drive.
I think the two medications kind of cancel each other out, or something. It's weird.

heheh Be careful, though. Most anti-depressants
have really CRAPPY side effects, most commonly lowering your sex drive. Not to mention digestive problems and all that good stuff =)

Hehe The SAME thing happens to me! I think it has to do with ovulation. The thing is, I continue to be horny all throughout my period. So I'm bitchy one minute, then loving the next. It honestly scares the hell out of my boyfriend. I don't know if you've seen the 'Roseanne' episode where she has PMS, but that's what it's like.

Ladies, I dont know how you feel about men reading some of what you write, but I would like to share something with you and I would like to hear what you have to say. My GF has in the past asked me to have sex with her on her period. Like most guys, not understanding the issues with your periods and she would not elaborate..got kinda grossed out at the prospect. After inadvertantly happening upon this web site, I have lurked for a couple of weeks. Being a guy I am absolutly amazed at what you women go through and I had no idea either. I had no sister to "learn" from, and my GF just refused to talk about it, saying that it was "women stuff". After reading some of your comments about sex during your periods and it helping the cramps, etc...I decided to try it for her sake. After seeing the "evidence" in the trashcan I apporached her the other night. At first she didnt believe me, but I convinced her to try. Actually it was not that much different, maybe a little stickier. And it washes off :^) She practically raped me. (No offense meant). I havent quite brought myself to try oral on her yet. I just wanted you women to know that guys DO read this,(no we are not weird just curious) and because of your generosity in posting, you have enlightened my perspective, and made my GF happier. Do you mind it being read by men? (I know it was started by a guy) and why are women reluctant to talk about it with their man? If she had told me the benefits (cramps, etc) I would have given it a chance instead of flatly rejecting it. The floor is your ladies!!!!
