Ok so today will be one more week until I have to get my second depo shot.
It seems like my period is getting lighter and lighter, which is wonderful. I know as soon as I get that shot though It will be another 3 month period. I've already had my period for about 5 months straight!

I wonder if I have my period this much if it gets rid of a lot of my eggs reducing the chances of having a child later in life?

Has anyone tried the new patch birth control? You put it on your body on your back or bottom and change it once a week. I was thinking about trying that out. If anyone has tried it could you give me a little info on it.

hmm. i hear a lot of women talk about bleeding all the time on the depo, but when i was on it, i completely stopped. for five years or so, i didn't have a period at all. i don't think it affects your eggs, though. i think it uses different hormones.

as far as the patch is concerned, i've heard some people say they love it, and others say they hate it, but if you weigh more than 150 or so, you shouldn't use it. there's not enough hormone in the patch to get the right levels in your body, so you might still get pregnant. at least, that's what my doc told me...

oh man oh man don't say that about that patch...i was on it for one month weigh more then one50...yikes.

I HATED IT. i ended up having to use the replacement patch in case one comes off. the ease of it is amazing. stick it and go. but if yr not a invalid kind of person having a 'bandage' really fucking sucks. the patch gets dirty around the edges...the sticky stuff attracts all the lint from yr clothes and for me it itched too much. i hated the patch. went on the pill after i finished the month.
i complained every day that thing was on.
