Well, I read the userinfo, and it really didn't say anything about asking questions in this community, but if someone could give me some insight on this, I'd appreciate it...


I having my period now, I'm 20, and I know that sometimes, it's not always red in color, but this happend to me twice, that it hasn't been red lately, it's like a very dark...brownish color...i always have a heavy period, but this time, it's like not a lot at all.

I had pms last week, and I got stomach cramps for the first time.



should I be worried about this, or is it normal???

i don't think you should be worried, i mean things can vary a little bit. maybe the months that this has happened, you've been doing slightly different activities, or different levels of stress, i'm not sure, but that kind of thing might do it. I usually get my period all at once, but recently it's been starting off with a bit of brown like it was ending. so yup, i think change is natural :)

i think lighter periods (flow-wise) also tend to be darker in color -- or at least, that's been my experience. i wouldn't worry about it.
