I'm in the hut...
Nov. 11th, 2002 08:53 amI'm glad. I like it, even if I don't like everything about it. I don't think I'll have cramps this time, mainly because of some extraordinarily fun physical activity. I've noticed that exercise makes my cramps better...exercise in general helps, but sex counts as exercise, I guess. Plus I've heard good stories about orgasms getting rid of cramps, but I don't know about having sex WHILE having cramps. I don't really think I could get in the mood...so we're attempting the PREVENTATIVE method. :) Well, anyway, I'm glad to be in the hut, because 1. I'm not pregnant...whee! and 2. It reminds me to respect my body because it can do wonderful things and I should appreciate all of its mysteries and treat it well.

Date: 2002-11-11 11:28 am (UTC)And as for the headaches, ORGASM (not necessarily sex) is typically a good pain reliever because of all of the hormones released. It relaxes your body and can make all sorts of things feel better. So you don't necessarily have to wait until you are married to experience orgasm. I don't know if this is too graphic for you...if it is, I'm sorry. I was very sex-aware when I was younger (I'm 23 now) even though I also waited for a while to have sex, so I'm not always sure of what people are comfortable hearing. So, I guess my point here is that you don't have to have SEX in order to get the benefits of orgasm...in fact, you'll probably have a much better sex life when (if?) you get married if you understand how your body works now.
A question: what if you never get married? Are you never going to have sex? Forgive me if this is too personal, and feel free to scream and yell at me. :) I was just wondering...namely because I don't plan on getting married until I'm roughly 30, and I can't imagine waiting that long for sex. But I'm sure you have a much better grasp on your life and what you want out of it, so excuse my intrusiveness. :)
(One last thing...I responded to the comment thinking that you were a girl, seeing as how mostly girls read/post to this community. But I looked at your name (Alin) and realized that it's sort of ambiguous. But I'm still guessing girl. Hope that's ok.)

Date: 2002-11-11 12:33 pm (UTC)And.. if I never get married, I suppose I won't have sex at all. You never know, I could turn uber-religious and go to be a nun [though I'm not Catholic; I've heard that there are ordinary Christian convents and such.. even though my denomination's beliefs are contrary to many of the accepted "Christian" ones.]..
I'm not also too big on any of the things dealing with sex and that area of my body ^^; so you see, it's a very strange thing that I could join this community and even say the word -- I don't, ordinarily, but I've seen you all being so open about it, so I figured there's really no point in being all shy and all that. You know?
