i have a question somewhere i can't remember where i read that it is not normal to go months without having a period and when i do have on it goes on for like a whole month. is there something wrong with this? should i get checked ? does this happen to anyone else?

Anytime your period is seriously irregular you should have it checked out. You can lose too much blood when you do bleed. I went through that myself.
Also ask your DR. About PCOS, Irregular periods are often an symptom of that.

You should go and get that checked out. A friend of mine ended up in the hospital because she bled too much for too long. Turns out she has ovarian cysts (not cancer).
