Whoo hoo! I would just like to say that after about 4 months of unsuccessful trials with my Keeper, today seems to be the day.
Got into the hut last night, tried it out this morning, and I'm wondering how I lived the last 7 years of my bleeding life without it.

Any tips for the timid? I am sooo tempted to try them, but I'm scared of the stupidest stuff...like, how do you get it OUT? What is this crazy nonsense about creating a vacuum and then it hurts (maybe that was with Instead)? Gah. Help?

Alrighty... since I had so much trouble with it at first, I must have asked about 20 people about it, until my one friend just came out and told me exactly what she does, and this month I was totally cool with it, following her advice, so here's what she said to me.
She ended up trimming her tab all the way off, and so did I. This was the main problem I had with it... it kept pinching but the site says over and over not to trim it too short. Try it with a longer tab, and if you can still feel it, literally cut it all the way off. Make sure you curve your cuts, 'cause the edges can be pinchy, too.
The vaccum thing isn't bad if you've "worked" on your keeper a bit. Just get a pin and find the little holes around the edge and make sure they're poked through so you don't get too much suction. Also, in the past couple of trials, I've noticed that if I don't get the thing to pop out all the way once I've got it in, and I decide its good enough, its not. You really have to make sure it pops all the way out (which is easy, sometimes it just takes a little manipulation) or it will hurt like a *bitch* (or at least does on me)
Lastly, you can always practice before your period, but make sure you have some lube, because even if the suction doesn't hurt, its still there, and it will *dry you out* like a bone before you get it in 3 times (I had trouble with it on light days until I invested in some KY, btw)

But seriously... its the best thing. And its cheap, and if you don't like it, they'll give you your money back! Ahhh...
