Nov. 13th, 2002 02:49 pmI have been taking Ortho-tricyclen for 1 year and 11 months now. I have only messed up a pill once. It was the first pill of a new pack and was only about 12 hours late. Although, I was told no backup method was needed I waited a week before having any sexual contact with my long time boyfriend.
Last month, I had a very very lite period. It was also about 2 days early, which was weird for me. Now this month, I started my period suddenly and it had stopped. Then, I had a bit more bleeding this morning. Then, it's stopped again.
I had started working as well, but the job isn't stressful. Also, my sleep schedule changed.
Do I need to worry about pregnancy at all? If so, when can I take a test? I'm REALLY freaked out. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if this helps but...
Date: 2002-11-13 03:12 pm (UTC)I have been on ortho-tricyclen for 3 years now and over the course of time I have noticed that aspects of my period change ex. severity of cramps, how many days my period lasts, the flow... I have talked to my regular doctor and the gyn and both seem to agree that it happens.
