okay its been almost two weeks after my period ending and the itching is still there. if its a yeast infection its my first so i have no idea if it really is or not since people keep telling me if you have one you either have it really bad or dont have one at all... the itching is only on the outside of the entrance, no where else. and its only mild. and it goes away. i had no other symptoms and (pardon my details) ive been checking every time i go to the bathroom and tonight instead of normal discharge i had slight chunky looking.. i dunno it wasnt chunky looking. it wasnt "curdy" like they say it should be, and it wasnt white. it was just like. normal color but it wasnt normal. Lol so. i dunno what the hell... but.. yeah now im all paranoid.. and im going home this weekend.. supposed to see my boyfriend friday. blurgh.
also i live in a dorm, so i cant really do any of those nice bath remedies and stuff. and i dont get much privacy to really check myself out. i really hate dorm bathroom living...

any suggestions? do i have an infection?

Any itching and any thicking of the discharge could mean yeast. However since you have never had one before and you need to be sure I would suggest you go to your health care provider. That way you can know for sure and get proper treatment.

If you've never had an infection like this before, it would be a good idea to go get yourself checked out. It may be yeast, it could be something like BV, or something else entirely.

Go to the doctor and get Diflucan. Take it and you'll be better in 24 hours.. don't have sex before you feel better or you'll give it to your bf and he could pass it back to you.
