I think I'm ovulating right now.
Does anyone get [bad] cramps when ovulating?

I sometimes get sharp cramps one side or the other for part of the day. It's called 'mittelschmertz.'

I get bad cramps when ovulating. not too many people do...or so i hear.

I do, but someone once told me that that can be a bad sign.
Could mean an ovarian cyst or something.
Get it checked out.

I get bad cramps everytime I am ovulating and I haven't ever had a problem, meaning cysts or anything like others here have mentioned. All I can advise is just take some advil or something for the pain and warm showers and massage usually helps mine go away in a day or two. Nothing to worry about though its just one of the many joys of being a woman :-)

I'm not sure... at random points during my period it seems like I get a minute or two of really intense sharp cramps, so I always wondered if that was what it was...

i dont get bad cramps, but i do cramp, its fun to know im ovulating. hahaha
i also heard depending on what side you feel the pain thats the side the eggs comin out... so sometimes im like "holy crap im ovulating out of my left ovary!" haha its fun Lol

I get mild cramps, but not really bad ones. I like it that way; I know what's going on with my body, and when my next period is due (exactly two weeks) but it doesn't hurt like hell.
