so i've discovered, tho most of you grrrls already know, the wonders of herbs to help with a late period. no, i'm not pregnant. i just have a fucked up cycle cos of all the medications i'm on.

herbs used: blue cohosh root, parsley leaf, and a store bought tea from TRADITIONAL MEDICINALS (pms tea) which includes such herbs as: dandelion root, carob pod, barley grain, chicory root, parsley leaf, oatstraw herb, nettle, uva ursi leaf, cornsilk and stigma, and cramp bark.

the teas have really calmed down my pms (yeah i still have it, but not nearly as severe. people can actually be around me!) and i can feel the uterine contractions. so my periods gonna actually be on time! wow!

i also wanna recommend, while i'm on the subject of on time cycles, the SLINGSHOT(!) organizer from slingshot collective. it is an anarchist organizer with a menstrual chart, planner, and little info pages in true ZINE fashion. i highly support the slingshot collective. you should, too!

i do have questions tho: what herbs are good for making menstruation less painful? i always have really bad backaches, cramps, headaches, and nausea. any ideas?

thank you, grrrls, for yr time and patience on this longass rambly entry.

Becareful about taking too many (or any) herbal fixes for things, just because they're natural does not mean they cannot be harmful and my sister was on them for a while and ended up getting tumours from it because some of the above mentioned herbs can cause cell mutation when used for long periods of time.
My sister is only 26, by the way.
