hey, i have a question. i have an odd brown discharge coming from my vagina. its not seeping out like my period would (meaning so heavily) but i have to wear a pad so that it does not wreck my underwear.i am not on my period and am not going to be getting it soon either. i got over it about a week ago. also, this has never happened before. any advice or have u ever experienced this? thanks

It is probably just spotting, but no harm in keeping an eye on it.

I used to have absurdly light periods, like spotting like, and it would be a funny brown sometimes. I went to the Dr cause I was a bit concerned and she told me it was because since it was such a small amount it oxodized a lot faster and when blood oxodizes it gets a brownish color.

But she said she didn't have her period and wasn't about to. Assuming her periods are regular, and this still happens, it can't really be spotting can it? Also she said it was her discharge. I know what she means. I got it too. The doctor was fucking stupid. All mine are. They didn't really answer my questions. The only things they tested me for was a yeast infection. How dumb...
But if she's talking about what I got, it's quite different from spotting. I have no clue what it is, though. It's worrying. =(

Go to the doctor. That could be anything. It sounds like spotting but it may not be.
