is it possible to ovulate from BOTH ovaries from time to time... like every three to four months? I swear I been able to feel myself ovulate, have a full three weeks of PMS and have the change in vaginal fluid smell/consistancy TWICE (twinges on each side, one week apart) at least four or five times this year since Anna's been born.

If you ovulate twice, it's within 24 hours of eachother. You can't ovulate once and then again a week later within the same cycle. When you ovulate the egg follicle turns into corpus luteum which signals to your body that ovulation is already occurred.. so ovulation will not happen again until after you've had your period.

However, ovarian cysts and other problems can cause ovarian pain throughout your cycle, and even cause the hormonal changes that are causing you to see the changes in cervical fluid as well.

No problem. By the way, cysts are perfectly normal as long as they aren't causing you pain, so if you have a sonogram and they say "Oh I see cysts!" don't panic yet.. every ovulating woman has small ones from time to time. :)

Producing two eggs is the way that fraternal twins are made, so it's definetly possible.
