I've noticed that my cycle has been getting steadily shorter over the last 6 months.
I'm 16 years old, I'm not sexually active, I'm not on the pill, there is no chance of me having a STD and until 6 months ago, my cycle had been around 30-32 days for over 2 years.
But more recently, (thanks to CyclesPage.com) I've been able to see that it's gone from 31 to 29 to 28 to 27 to 25 to 22. And for the last 2 or 3 months it's been dead regular on 22 days.
Why?! *lol* I don't want to spend 5 days out of every 22 in the hut!
Trust this just to happen as I get a new boyfriend and things start... hmm.. heating up?!
Dammit!

Wellp...

I was in a similar situation. Im 17 and I first got my period when i was 11 or 12. at first my period was very regular, it would come around the same date and such and I would be prepaird for it whenever it came. But for the past 2-3 years its been complatly off. Ranging from 6 weeks to 3 months. I really couldnt tell you any "scientific" theory for why this happens but its nothing abnormal. If you have been playing sports and suddenly stop (such as in my case) that could throw it off. Or if youve had depression or are worry about ur period not comming then it will push the days back. If your period comes a few days early or late, its no biggy. But if it starts comming months in advance or late then you should definetaly be put on the pill. Well...i hope this helped a little bit. But i would definetaly be put on the pill, even if your not sexualy active. ♥
