this is the post i am referring to...its very cool.

my case is that within the last 8 mnths or so ive been getting my periods every 2, 2 and a half, 3 mnths. they were never really that on time and before this they just kinda came and went whenever they wanted to.
so im trying out the vitamin c thng, im so curious to see if this will work. i will be happy if it does. i tried to strt a few days ago but i didnt really have a lot of vitamin c tablets so i just went out and bought a bottle of 500 mg tabs.
i went to a doctor about a mnth ago and told her about my period situation and she just told me to go to the gyno, she said it may have to do with my seizure/epilepsy meds that i take. but i find that weird since i have been taking them for a few yrs and never had a real period problem. and obviously i really dont want to go to the gyno too much and my mom doesnt really want to put me on bc to regulate it because of all the hormones and all.

anyway so i will let you gals know how this goes. can i do this monthly to get a period or would that get harmful after a while? or do you think that if i do this a few times that my body will just get used to a period and strt naturally on its own?

thanks.
have a great turkey day everyone.

Vitamin C, not good.

You should not overdose on anything to make your period come.
Anything, when taken in large amounts is bad for you, and potentially dangerous.
The way that vitamin C encourages your period to start is by sending the levels of acid in your body absolutely skyrocketing. I've asked my doctor about this and she agreed that though it might prompt your period to begin, there is also a fairly good chance of causing an nasty stomach ulcer or other similar problem in your digestive tract as well.
I think their would be far easier and more convenient ways to regulate your period (eg: the pill).
