This month, I decided to skip getting my period altogether by starting my new pack of ortho tri cyclen instead of waiting a week.
in an unrelated issue, I think I have a yeast infection, but I'm not sure. My friend says the symptoms are of a yeast infection, but I really don't know. She says it will just go away, and that she just waits it out, but I'm concerned cause this really is NOT pleasant. What exactly are the symptoms, and can I just wait for it to go away or do I have to get medication?

Date: 2002-12-02 12:34 pm (UTC)As far as your friend is concerned, you should NEVER wait on a yeast infection! That can lead to some very serious problems. How old are you? This is something I remember being taught about in like 9th grade.
Anyway, I saw this site and thought it could give you a better outline of a yeast infection.

Good luck and I hope you get it taken care of soon. I know how much they are a bother.
